1. Pre-approve where you can
- Ask residents to pre-approve expected guests in the visitor app (MyGate, NoBrokerHood, ADDA) or by a WhatsApp to the desk. Pre-approved guests walk in, everyone else waits for a call to the flat.
- House parties: the host flat sends the desk a guest count and a time window. Guards don't call the flat for every car.
- Out-of-town relatives staying a week: register once with name and vehicle number, not at every entry.
2. Vehicles and guest parking

3. Late nights
- Set one time after which only pre-approved or resident-escorted guests enter (10:30 or 11 pm is common).
- Keep the gate and lobby lights on until that time; the guards need to see faces and number plates.
- On Diwali night itself, keep one extra guard at the main gate for the peak hours.
4. Domestic help, drivers and vendors
- Regular staff on festival leave are often replaced by unknown substitutes. Ask residents to tell the desk the name of any substitute before they arrive.
- Diwali cleaning crews, painters and electricians: entry with the resident's approval, exit check for bags.
